In the rivers of the Pacific Northwest, a style of the fly line was developed to get big heavy flies down quickly, using different lengths of level sinking lines to reach fish as the water depth varies.
Previously available only to people willing to make their own lines (line nerds), Skagit heads make fishing heavy tips for stubborn fish easy.
Each head consists of a short heavy floating “belly”, a custom-cut tip CCT200 and a leader wallet to keep track of your tips. Custom cut tips have factory welded loops on both ends making it even easier to cut to your perfect length.
