Description
Sardines are an excellent pike bait and one of our best sellers. They are very effective due to their high oil content. They leak a very strong scent and like the Blueys they have a reputation for achieving good results.
The Sardine is a very cheap bait to buy and they are good for Piking for many reasons.
After the sardine has been attached to the treble and begins to thaw in the water the flesh becomes fairly soft, allowing the trebles to tear through the sardine when a Pike strikes. This allows the trebles to catch the pike and 9/10 times the Pike is landed without being lost.
The coloured sardines prove to be particularly effective in the deeper waters.
Frozen dead bait. Ideal for sea fishing, pike and specimen fish.
Please note in warm temperatures they may defrost slightly, however the packs are vacuum packed so will remain fresh.
Please re-freeze immediately and defrost prior to use.
